Son of George Frederick and Frances Claridge, of 6, Grove Rd., Leighton Buzzard, Beds. Joined the Regt. in Oct., 1914, sent to Malta in Dec., 1914, from there to Egypt and to the Dardenelles, where he served in the trenches for 3 months. He was on the staff of the Anglo-South American Bank at Chile at outbreak of war.
