Son of Albert Edward and Ellen Dawson, of 440, Magdalen St., Montreal. Born at Sheffield, England. On Jan. 2nd, 1913, his birthday, at the risk of his own life, he saved two other boys from drowning in the St. Lawrence River, nr. Montreal.
