Joseph Farnworth

M M H Farnworth

MY FATHER'S ELDEST BROTHER, HENCE MY UNCLE. ALL 4 BROTHERS SERVED, JOE WAS KILLED AND 2 OTHERS BADLY WOUNDED. MY FATHER SURVIVED UNSCATHED. I THINK OF THEM ALL WITH PRIDE AND GRATITUDE.

Cathy Rozel Farnworth

Joe was always remembered by his brother Reg - my grandfather - and his wife Edna.

Tristan Farnworth

I am remembering Joe Farnworth, my Grandfather's brother who died 100 years ago today. He laid down his life for us.

Dear Joseph, we planted a cherry tree for you and Reginald at the Rookery in Warleggan. One hundred years remembered. In Love.
