Tom had two brothers and one sister and two step brothers Frank, Nora, Alfred, and step brothers Benjamin and Thomas

In 1911 Tom was 15 years old and worked as an Errand Boy

He left effects of £43 18s 10d to his mother Naomi

His brother Frank also died in the war he was with the 11th Battalion Suffolk regiment and died on 24th March 1917 and is remembered with honour at Faubourg D’Amiens Cemetery Arras

Pte Horobin was awarded the British and Victory Medals
