Harold died at No 2 General Hospital Le Havre he was also registered with UK and Forign Overseas Registers of British Subjects in the ‘Extrait du Registre des Actes de Deces’

Pte Burton was formerly 4468 Essex Regiment

He left effects of £5 7s 5d and a war gratuity of £3   0s  0d to his mother Emily

Pte Harold Vincent Burton is remembered with honour at Ste Marie Cemetery Le Havre
