Pte Pettit died of Influenza and Pneumonia at the Military Hospital Kempston.  The death was witnessed by R. C. Height of Kettering

Pte Pettit was awarded the British and Victory Medals

Pte Henry Green Pettit is remembered with honour at Gayhurst (St Peter) Churchyard
