The photo I uploaded is from the Yorkshire Post newspaper and tells of a football match played in France. The story came from Rifleman H Wright, who was attached to the transport section, and who could be Harold. He begins "We would like the people of Leeds to know that we are all quite happy and still smiling." My grandmother kept the article as it mentions W A Jillings, her brother, as a goal scorer. I don't know whether Harold is the author, but it's a nice story and I'd like to think so.
