Ian went to Glenalmond College, in Scotland, and was in the same regiment as my Great-Grandfather in the Somerset Light Infantry. As I now go Glenalmond, it is amazing to think that they may have fought, laughed and worked together. Ian died during the war, and my Great-Grandfather was one of the few in his battalion to survive.
