Leading Signalman Peter Lamb, Royal Navy. He died of wounds at Home on 1st June 1916 and is buried in Tweedmouth Cemetery. He had served at H.M.S.Victory which was a Shore Base in the Portsmouth area used in the training of recruits. He had suffered his wounds aboard H.M.S. " Birmingham " at the Battle of  Heligoland. The ship was a Town Class light cruiser of 5,440 tons and a crew of 433. She sank U-15 on 9th August 1914 and as well as Heligoland she took part in the Battles of Dogger Bank in January 1915 and Jutland on May31st/1st June 1916.
