Charles Thomas Steward, brother of my Great Grandfather, died in Iraq from pneumonia. Married to Laura Hooks (pictured) and Charles is in her locket. Laura worked in the village post office and was responsible for printing up the telegrams informing the villagers of deaths of their sons/husbands, unfortunately whilst doing this job Laura transcribed the death of her own husband on to a telegram.
