100 years ago today, on the 8th October 1918, Private Moses Blackburn of the 8th Battalion, Kings Liverpool Regiment, from Nelson in Lancashire, was killed in action at Bourlon Wood in Northern France. His Grandson, Alan Blackburn RE would like to honour Moses & all the millions of men who gave their lives for the rest of us to live free. RIP... ????
