Jack Kerfoot's brother Joe named his son John Edward in memory of his brother. This second Jack then named his own son John Edward. He is a Kerfoot who will not be forgotten. The youngest John Edward Kerfoot visited Etaples Cemetery in 2012, along with his wife and daughter. We visited his grave and the simple message at the bottom of the gravestone, "Loved", moved us greatly. It is so sad that he should pass away in a military hospital so far from home, but we have so much gratitude for the way in which he gave his life for us Thank you Jack from the Manchester branch of the Kerfoot family.
