I have only recently discovered (by chance and a bit of family research) that a fellow Grain fought and fell tragically during World War One. It makes me a very proud Grain to know that George fought for what we have today and will be eternally grateful for the ultimate sacrifice that he made. I will endeavour to speak of him more often and find out more about him. Lest we forget. Charles Grain.
