After visiting the battlefields of Ypres, a trip I found harrowing and very humbling, I felt I needed to show my thanks and appreciation for those that have fallen. These brave men experienced such horrific conditions that none of us can even begin to understand. If this small gesture can help to support our heroes, then iI hope many others will follow. They should never be forgotten. I will be back to visit my soldier so that he has someone to remember him.
