In memory of our 3rd cousin Alfred George Puttock, son of Arthur Puttock and Caroline (Nee Baker). He was born in Tunbridge on 28th March 1893. He enlisted as private L/10096 'A' company 1st battalion Queens Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) and was killed in the first battle of Ypres on 14th November 1914. He has no known grave and is remembered on the Menin Gate. RIP
