Archie was my Grandmother's little brother, that I never knew. He died of Malaria 2 months before his 27th birthday. Just four days later the Battle of Megiddo started, which heralded the Armistice of Mudros on 30 October 1918, when all Ottoman forces surrendered. He fought proudly to free the world of tyranny, and is buried 2200 miles from home. We shall not forget him, nor his brother Charles who died 11 months earlier at Passchendale
