He is commmemorated at St Paul Church, Diamond Way, Deptford as are his brothers Sidney and Arthur.Edward Richard Brown was born 21 July1896 and baptised 30 August 1896 at St.Pauls, Deptford. In 1911 he was living at 229 Grove Street, Deptford with his parents Charles and Margaret. Also living there are his brothers Arthur and Sydney and sister Martha. He also had 2 other sister Gertrude and Lydia
