Albert Moody was born c1896.

He enlisted in 26 April 1915 and was discharged on 9 July 1915 due to medical grounds (tubercle of lung). His service number was 3677 and his regiment was the 3/20 battalion of the London Regiment.

He was 5ft 4 inches tall and had blue eyes and light brown hair and a fair complexion. His occupation was given as a carman. His military character was good and his conduct very good.

In 1911 he was living at 64 Seymour St, St Johns Deptford with his parents William George and Mary Ann Moody. He had 8 brothers William henry, henry Joseph, Alfred, Reginald, Percival, Ernest and Arthur and 2 sisters Edith and Doris. One sibling had already died.
