Albert was a keen bell ringer, and his fellow ringers at St Bartholomews church in Quorn Leicestershire were shocked when he was killed, it hit them very hard when they learned that they had also lost another of their members, Basil Langrish, on the same day, in seperate action.Bot young men  lost their lives little more than a month before the armistice.
