John Stafford died in 1916 on the Somme. He was in the Royal Army Medical Corp. His brother, Wesley, was my grandfather who died in 1989. Whilst no one alive knew John Stafford, now is the time to remember what could have been. One name amongst many, and one family amongst many. We must remember that he could have been our brother or our son..... God caught them even before they fell.
