70715 Private Harry Fenn of the 13th Battalion, The King’s (Liverpool Regiment):

 

He died on the 31 March 1917, aged 20 years, and he is buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, France.

 

Harry Fenn was born at Denton in 1896 and he is the son of George Fenn and Elizabeth Yates who were married at Ashton-under-Lyne in 1888. In 1911 he was resident with his parents and siblings on Cross Street, Denton, employed as an errand boy for a printer at a hat leather works.
