My dad's uncle who was ****ed 5 months before my dad was born at the battle of Loos on the same day and battle as Rudyard Kipling's son was ****ed. I have visited the memorial with Peter's name on it. Even though I never knew him and have no photo of him, it was a profound moment to see the name of a member of my family on the memorial as he has no known grave. I will be there (hopefully with some of my grandchildren) on September 25 2015 to remember the 100th anniversary. This is for my late dad too.
