I never knew I had a great uncle killed in the Great War until I started researching my grandfathers role in that horrendous conflict,his name appeared on the role of Londoners who served. I was horrified to learn that one of my family had been killed and I didn't even know.! since then I have visited his grave twice to pay my respects and thank him for his sacrifice.he was killed on 16.10.18 in a town called haussey in Northern France and is buried in the communal cemetery I wish I had met him I haven' any photographs I wish I had.R.I.P
