Sgt William Donaldson who was killed on 8 May 1915 aged 25 years at Mouse Trap Farm. His name is on panels 8 and 12 of the Menin Gate. He sailed on the SS Australind in January 1915.  He left behind his widow Elizabeth and children Joseph aged 5 and Elizabeth aged 6 months.  

The first photo is William and the 2nd is of his great great grandson (3rd right in grey t shirt) laying a wreath at the Menin Gate, in his memory, last year whilst on a school trip.
