Donald Chisholm MacKenzie worked for The Century Insurance Company in the Edinburgh head office. He enlisted in May 1917, aged 17 and 347 days. He was sent to France on 30 March 1918 as a Private in the Royal Scots "C" Company, 11th Battalion and was killed in action there. He was 19.
