Arthur Edward Reed was born on 8th June 1890 in Northwold to William and Annie Reed. 

Arthur enlisted in Brandon on 6th October 1908 and at the time of the 1911 census he was resident at the Guards Depot in Caterham, Surrey.

Private Arthur Edward Reed  was killed in action on 23rd October 1914 and is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial, in Ypres, Belgium. Panel 11,
