Harry left his home in the village of Letchmore Heath on 25th April 1917. He is recorded by a plaque on his family home , the village bakery, and on the memorial on the village green. He was killed one year later on 17th April 1918. He has no known grave but is remembered in the Tyne Cot Memorial
