Rifleman 419009 Albert George Dowsett of the London Regiment of Queen Victoria's Rifles was born in 1898 in Plaistow, West Ham. He was the third child of Thomas Edward Dowsett and Beatrice Minnie nee Grant. He died on the 25th August 1918 aged 20years and is buried in Bray Military Cemetery, Bray Sur Somme, Grave number 11.K.31. His story is in our Family Tree and he will be remembered by generations to come.
