Leslie,who was ****ed long before I was born went to register for the army....it was discovered that he was below age and had to be fetched back by his mother.....Granny always referred to him as "My Leslie) She lost 2 sons in WW 1..and her husband died of influenza in 1917...I much regret not asking Granny about her earlier life.....her family and all the hardships.
