Private Stanley Rosevear, 2691, “B”Coy. 1st/5th Bn Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry. Died 8 December 1916 aged 21. Mentioned in the War Diaries of William Charles Manley. They served together. Lost, Not Forgotten The diary entry for 7 December 1916 reads "Field trench. Gas shells as soon as we got there. Rosevear gassed & died, hit in the face with piece of shrapnel. Misty & rainy weather"
