My great grandfather Private Richard Walters (Killed in 1917)was one of five brothers who fought in WW1, the others were Private William Walters (Killed in 1915), Private Thomas Walters (Killed in 1917), Private George Walters (Killed in 1918) and Private Herbert Walters (who I believe survived). Richard is buried in Philosophe British Cemetry, Mazingarbe, France (ref I.U.8). William is buried in Rue-Petillon Militrary Cemetry, Fleurbaix, France (ref I.F.15) and Thomas has no known grave but is remember on the Thiepval Memorial, France (ref Pier & Face 10c, 10d and 11a).
