John, we kow a little about you from an article in the Inverness Football Times for 2nd November 1918. You were reported as being the son of Mr William Ross, formerly of Struy and a native of Glen Urquhart and that you had been killed in action 31st August 1918. On that day we read that the British Forces had retaken Kemmel Hill, and we assume that you lost your life at this time. Much sympathy. Harry.
