Thomas Patrick was born in Spalding, Lincolnshire on 7 April 1865 but moved to Widnes in Lancashire, where he married Hannah Butler at St Ambrose Church on 28 August 1897. The couple had five children: William Henry (1898), Lucy (1901), Eva (1904), Thomas Arthur (1906) & Rachel (1908). He had various jobs according to the records, including Railway Goods Checker, Sewing Machine Agent and Blacksmith's Striker. Thomas died at Burnham Westgate in Norfolk on 29 November 1918. Hannah survived him till 2 September 1946.
