Reginald Hanson Ormerod was a Midshipman aboard H.M.S. Vincent, and died of wounds on 9 February 1918 at Scapa Flow.

Reginald suffered severe injuries to his back in an accident whilst H.M.S. Vincent was coaling on 2 February 1918, and was transferred to H.M.H.S. Soudan, before succumbing to his injuries a week later.

Reginald was the son of George Frederick and Lilian Elizabeth Ormerod, of Brighouse, Yorkshire, and Reginald is buried in Brighouse Cemetery, Yorkshire (Grave Ref. D. "C" 544).

He is also commemorated on the war memorial in St Martin's Church, Brighouse.
