Vincent Percy Bayne worked in the London head office of the Employers' Liability Assurance Corporation Ltd. He served as a Sergeant in the London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) D Company 2nd/5th Battalion and died of wounds in France or Flanders. He was 19.
