Born in Bromsgrove on 23rd July 1891, son of Albert Stride and Ellen Workman, brother to seven siblings, husband of Emily Elizabeth Morgan and father to three children: Frances, Charles and Joan. Died during the Battle of the Somme by shell explosion on 25th September 1916. My great-great grandfather.
