Capt George Ledward was educated at Hailebury School along with his brother Edward F. Ledward, they both served in the Army during WW1, sadly George was lost in action in Gallipoli, his brother Edward also a Capt was injured but recovered and continued to serve in the Army making a career in the Royal Tank Regiment where he continued to serve upto and including WW2.
