I was recently made aware of Private Farrar, on a certificate received with our Passendale poppy. Whilst in Ypres this past week September 2017 to commemorate a family member, I felt it both my duty and an honour to visit the Lijssenthoek Militart Cemetary, and place a cross and poppy at Private William Farrar's headstone. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
