Harold Jones worked in the Liverpool branch of the North British and Mercantile Insurance Company. He served as a Rifleman in The King's (Liverpool Regiment) 1st/5th Battalion and was initially reported missing, later assumed killed in action, after fighting around Ypres. He was 21.
