Frank was the eldest son of Patrick and Ann Healey. He was born in 1890 in Edinburgh. He served with the 6th Battalion The Royal Scots and was sent out to Gallipoli in 1915. He died on 28th June 1915. As this was the first day of the Battle of Gully Ravine, in which 14,000 men lost their lives' it is possible that he was killed in this action, but equally possible is that he died of dysentery or typhoid.
