Charles Henry Loose was born in Burnley, Lancashire in 1879. He later moved to Oswestry with his family where he met his wife Alice Owen. He worked as a tarpaulin sheet maker at the Cambrian railway. He died age 37 and left behind his 4 daughters; Elsie, Eva, Florence and Hilda
