He was born c1889 in Lewisham

He married Rose E Rawlings between June and September 1914.

He formerly resided at 13 Lethbridge Road, Lewisham. He was an old boy of Lewisham Bridge School.  He has been in France approx. 18 months. He was wounded in the head, legs and arm in June . He leaves a widow and a son Alfred.

 In 1911 he is living at 9 Elmira St Lewisham with his parents George and Emily. He has a brother William. 1 of his 4 siblings has already died. He is employed as an electric theatre attendant.

 In 1901 he is living at 9, Elmira Street, Lewisham with his parents and brother William and sister Rose.

 In 1891 he is living at Harvard Road, Lewisham with his parents and sisters Edith, Florence and Rose.
