He is commemorated at the Church of the Ascension Dartmouth Row, Blackheath, London SE10 8AN

He was the only son of the late Mrs Taylor of 15 Granville Park Blackheath.

He was born 22 April 1882 at Woolwich.

He enlisted 12 February 1915 and gave his occupation as a clerk.

He was 5ft 8 inches tall. He had brown eyes, brown hair and a medium complexion.

 In 1901 he is living at 238, Lewisham High Road, St Paul Deptford with his widowed mother Emma and sisters Gertrude, Agnes and Mildred. He is employed as an assistant in Boots warehouse.

In 1891 he was living at Brewer Street, Woolwich with his parents Richard and Emma. He had 4 sisters Agnes, Florence, Alice and Mildred.
