There is a family letter stating that my Great-Uncle Sidney Clifford Stone (known as Cliff, Pte 433) was killed at Zillebeke, near Ypres (aged 20), by the same bullet that killed Captain Eustace Lyle Gibbs (also 11th Feb 1915 and of the North Somerset Yeomanry). He was aged 29 and the son of Antony Gibbs of Tyntesfield, JP and Deputy-Lieutenant of Somerset.
Cliff's youngest brother James (Jim) wrote "The bullet that killed Cliff also killed one of their officers named Gibbs. He was the son of Colonel Gibbs, who at the time was MP for North Somerset. Colonel Gibbs met my father {Sidney John Stone of Bristol} several times when passing through Bristol....".
