Private David Brockie was 2nd Canadian Contingent, who died from wounds in France on 6th November 1915. He was employed in Vancouver prior to enlisting shortly after the outbreak of war. Private Brockie was the elder son of the late Mr Thomson Brockie, Hawthornside, and of Mrs Brockie, Anna Cottage, Jedbrugh.
