Charles John Simpson Taylor was born in Brighton in 1873.  He married Florence Eliza McRiner in Barnsbury, London in 1898 and he worked as a sorting clerk with the Post Office.  Charles and Florence had 4 children, Florence Catherine, Charles John, Louise Maud and Gracie May.  Charles is buried in Boulogne sur Mer.
