Rees Lewis died 8 May 1915 at Flanders. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate. He served in the 1st Battalion the Welsh Regiment and we know little else about him. He left no wife or child but a broken hearted family. No photographs survive of Great Uncle Rees but we do have his medal which is very precious to us.
