This young man had the same name as my Grandad who was horrendously wounded at the Battle of the Somme. Although he suffered daily for the rest of his life as a result of his injuries, he did still HAVE a life, thanks to the sacrificies made by his comrades to give us the freedoms that we enjoy today.
