George Henry Joseph Hunt was born in Nottinghamshire the son of George and Martha Hunt  He emigrated to Canada and worked in Manitoba as a bridge builder.  He went over to France with the Canadian Expeditionary Force and was killed in Courcelette on 15th September 1916.  He has no known grave but is remembered on the Canadian Memorial at Vimy Ridge
