Private 5751 William Thomas CLIMPSON

Born 1890 Chesham. Son of Ernest Smith CLIMPSON & Charlotte Anne of the Broadway, Chesham.

Enlisted on 22nd November 1915 into the 1/4th Battalion, B company of the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.

Killed in action on 5th November 1916. The Battalion was in Scotland & Chalk trenches in front of Le Sars. He has no known grave, remembered on the Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 10A & 10D.
